Huanglong Cavity is located in the east of the Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Nuclear Scenery, which is belonging to the world natural heritage. It is next the 40km marker of Zhangqing Highway. Huanglong Cavity is often honored “supernatural cave in China, and wonder of the world cavities”.
Huanglong Cavity is belonging to the typical karst physiognomy. The discovered area of the cave is over 48ha with the total course of 15km and height of 140m. It is divided into two floors of dryland cave and two floors of water cave. The cave is inside another cave, and the river is also inside the cave. Lots of stalactites, stalagmites, stone flowers, curtains, stone branches, stone pipes, stone pearls and stone corals, which are formed by the coagulation of calcareousness solution, are distributing everywhere of the cavity. Everything is strange here and every strange thing are existing here, and the whole cavity is like an underground “Magic Palace”.
Huanglong Cavity is famous for its broad cave, deep underground rivers, hanging waterfalls and serried stalagmites, etc. It has become a famous underground cavity nationwidely for its superfine touring resources. It has developed the scenic spots as Dragon Dance Hall, Sounding Water River, Beauty Waterfall, Street of Steles, Dragon Palace and Labyrinth etc.

Incity Transportation: Take the coach for Suoxiyu at Zhangjiajie Coach Station and get off at Wulingyuan Town, then take the motorbike to Huanglong Cavity with the fare of 2yuan a person.

Zhangjiajie is belonging to the climate of sub-tropic mountain monsoon climate, with comfortable temperature and abundant rain and sunshine. The cold period is very short every year, and the annual average temperature is 16 degree centigrade. It is suitable for touring in spring and autumn, especially the April, May, September and October.
