| Short Description: | There are over 100 various sized dissolved caverns in Jiuxiang Scenic Spot. It is the largest and most unique cave group system with the most number of caverns. Festival Activities: Jiuxiang Yi Mi: This festival originates from an old myth. Yi people celebrate this festival on every February 1st to February 3rd to offer sacrifice to Mizhi and Hunting God. People organize various kinds of activites such as dancing, singing in couples, etc. |

Jiuxiang is a key national scenic spot, its main scene is dissolved cavern combined with natural scenery outside the cave, sceneries of humanities and folk customs. The climate is mild with an average annual temperature of 14.6 degrees Celsius. There are no cold winters nor hot summers. The rate of forest coverage is high. So this spot is a nice place to spend summer, holidays and go outing. It is only 22 kilometers to the Stone Forest. Jiuxiang is the largest cave group system with the most numbers of caves.

- Get on the medium-sized bus from Dongju Bus Station, Dongbu Bus Station, and get to Jiuxiang Scenic Spot by bus from Yiliang. The fare is 10RMB to 15RMB… from Kunming to Yiliang, and 10RMB, 15RMB… (one way trip).
