Suzhou West Hill is in the center of south of Taihu Lake, opposites the east hill and consists of west hill of Dongting and the surrounding islands. It is the essence of Taihu Lake scenic area. It is a traveling and holiday island noted for the scenery of islands, flowers, jungle and the places of interests of Wu and Yue State. the Misty Cloud Field, Track of Xiaoshan Hill, the sunset shinning on Taihu Lake, ancient temple of Lohan, the rising sun of Hengshan Mountain and altogether 22 scenic sites will be planned to build.

Go around: take the tourism special line bus at Suzhou railway station, take the passenger midibus at Wuxian County Bus Station, take bus 58 at Wuzhong south bus station or take bus 91 at the west side of Suzhou railway station, one hour’s distance, price is ￥5-7.

- 1. You had better wear long trousers to avoid the scuffing by the plants.
- 2. You can bring the swimming suits. The swimming is free, but has no the dressing place, so it is troublesome for the girls. But safety is the first.
