We are hoping to take overnight train from Beijing to Xian, and hopefully will return to Beijing the same evening.
Is this a ridiculous idea?
Are there lockers at the Xian train station where we can store some of our luggage?

Make sure you can get the return ticket .
It is very difficult to buy the same day tickets .
You had better book in advance.
Yes ,there are luggage storage room at the Xian train station and works for 24 hours a day.

thank you, but how do you buy them in advance? i understand you need to be at the departing train station to purchase the tickets, there is no central reservation system in China.

What would be good in regards to this forum is if you were able to subscribe to discussions that you post; Is this attainable?

How's things, I am fresh here so I believed that I should say hi all, I have been on line for quite a little while and was referred to this site by a business partner.
