According to Tan there are currently 14 five-star luxury cruise ships in Chongqing, according to Tan, and they are more popular than ordinary ones. This shows the demand for cruises from tourists are changing from the former sightseeing only to the current combination of leisure and sightseeing. Luxury cruises have a better added value than ordinary sightseeing cruises.
The new luxury cruise ships will have entertainment venues, supermarkets, swimming pools, and other service facilities. It is expected that there will be as least a million outbound tourists and five million domestic tourists each year taking a cruise to visit the Three Gorges.

Zhejiang.com.cn is developed by zjol.com.cn, the only official news portal of Zhejiang province. The website will provide useful information about short-haul rural travel, famous agriculture sightseeing destinations, Nongjiale (tourist accommodation in farms and rural homes), and local specialties in Zhejiang. Currently the website has collected pictures and text data of over 1,000 Nongjiale complemented by a map search function.
The website will organize netizens in groups and enable them to experience rural tourism according to different seasons, types, regions, and themes. Besides being and professional information provider, it will also be an interactive platform for communication between rural tourism destinations and tourists.

According to deputy government spokesman Watchara Kannika, the Cabinet has agreed to extend these measures from April 1, 2010, to March 31, 2011. Apart from the visa fee exemption policy, other measures include reduced aircraft landing and parking fees, providing free-of-charge riot protection insurance worth USD10,000 for each foreign tourist and boosting domestic spending.
Kannika commented this decision would help to achieve the goal of attracting 15.3 million to 15.5 million foreign tourists visiting Thailand in 2010.
Tourism revenues account for 6% of Thailand's GDP. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports reported that the number of foreign tourists visiting the country in 2009 was 14.09 million, down 8% on 2008, with a total income of THB527 billion, down 3% from 2008.
The tourism stimulus measures were due to terminate at the end of April 2010.

This route will be operated using Airbus A330 and will have three flights each week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Flights will leave from Shanghai at 00:10 and will arrive at Brussels at 06:55 local time; return flights will depart at 13:50 local time and arrive Shanghai at 07:00 the following day.
This new route will enable Chinese travelers to take direct flights to Brussels from either Beijing or Shanghai, and to get to 45 cities in European countries and 13 cities in 12 African countries via Brussels.
The first direct flight between China and Belgium, the Beijing to Brussels route, was launched in 2006 and is also operated by Hainan Airlines.

The agency, Ningbo Wanguo International Travel Agency Company, is invested in by Cixi Qianxi Tourism Company and Macao Wanguo Youth Travel Agency Company.
Mao Peisheng, the general manager of the Qianxi Tourism Company, said that the cooperation with the Macau-based agency will bring more tourists to Cixi via the tourist source network, and will introduce a new management and operating mechanism to Cixi's travel agencies thus boosting the development of the industry.
The JV has a registered capital of USD1 million. Cixi has a 51% equity stake and Wanguo Youth holds 49%.

According to the plan, the bureau will focus on 100 linked routes, the original Taiwan, and boutique value-added services to plan a series of activities such as the Taiwan Lantern Festival and the Taiwan Hot Spring Fine-Cuisine Carnival. The 100 routes will feature ten different tourism elements and will be chosen by a work group organized by the bureau.
Taiwan's Premier Wu Den-yih commented enthusiastically on this work plan saying a good tourism environment needs the joint efforts of many departments in Taiwan,including immigration service at international airports and an update of road signs.

Besides these changes, starting from July 18, 2010, Air China will increase the frequency of flights between Beijing and New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido, from the current twice a week to three times a week.
