Characterized by bamboo scenery, the Southern Sichuan Bamboo Sea is a "China's National Scenic Spot", one of "the 40 Best Tourist Attractions", a "Chinese Biospheric Protection Zone", "the First AAAA Class Tourist Attaction". It locates in the southwest Liantian Mountains Which border the Changning County and Jiangan County of Yibin City, and covers an area of 120 square kilometers with an elevation from 600 to 1000.2 meters. In its central region, more than 5000 hectares of big tall and upright bamboo (Pronounced in Chinese as Nanzhu, spelled Phyllostachys Mazelexh. de Lehaie in Latin) shelters 28 ridges and peaks high and low, 500 hills big and small. Bamboo grows in the fields at different levels and in the mountains and hills that stretches long and far. The place seems like a misty vast green sea. Hence comes the name of "Bamboo Sea". - Green Corridor
The road between small bridge and Sanhe boundary, which is about 5 kilometers long. There is a lot of bamboo on both sides. They form a green corridor and make people feel cool in summer.

- Rainbow Waterfall
There is a famous hydrospace atmosphere in the scenic spot of Bamboo Sea. The calabash-shaped inclining valley stands between the Stone Drum Mountain and Stone Gong Mountain in the Wanli Village in the eastern part. These two mountains stand facing each other and the valley is high and steep. A waterfall, which is about 200 meters high and 4 meters wide, jumps out from the cliff. The sunlight is reflected from the steam forming colorful rings of light. So this waterfall is called as "Varicolored Waterfall". It is high and magnificent, facing with the mouth of deep valley. Around afternoon of the fine days, the waterfall is kaleidoscopic under the strong sunshine. It is just like a rainbow, rising slowly from the valley.
- Black Brook
Here is a valley chain to the west of Yiwang Bridge. The left is Ink Brook and the right is Wangyou Valley. The main scenic spots are "Yanyu Dragon Rock" and "Yulian Waterfall", which have the characteristic of being deep, remote, elegant and quiet. A great deal of lichen and bamboo are around the brook and its colour is a little black, so the brook is called Black Brook.
- Fairy Lake
On the top of north of the bamboo sea. Lake is exquisite, the water is green and clean, fishes can be seen. Embellished with the bamboo pavilion, stockade, porch of the banks, make typical bamboo hometown mountain and water.
- Tianbao stockade
The cliff is more than 50 meters to the north of Xianyun Cave (the cave where the immortals live), which lies in the south of Bamboo Sea. Taking the advantage of natural geography, it was built by the local government to resist the Taiping Army led by Shi Dakai(One of major leaders of the largest of peasant uprisings in China's history) during the region of emperor Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty. It is 1500 meters long, 20 meters hight and about 10 meters wide with a precipice abouve and a stream down which is about 1000 meters deep. You cannot enter the Tianbao stockade from the south until you pass 13 doors. So we call it natural barries. Before the stockade, there is a yellow stone pillar, which is more than 10 meters hight with three words"Huang San Shi" written in it. This pillar got its name of "Huang San Shi" because it can support a huge rock, just like a yellow umbrella. In 1997, "36 Strategies"(a major part of The Act of War) was carvel in the cliff and people elected the familiar wars to be engraved into a giant picture.
- Xianyu Cave
Buddhist and Taoist Temples, one of the major scenic spots of Bamboo Sea in the south of Sichuan province protection. With the luxuriantly green Bamboo Sea above and extremely steep ravine blow, the cliff, which is fully covered by grasse, has only a dangerous path to go. These temples were bulit in the first year of the reign of the Emperor Kaiqing in the Nan song Dynasty and renovated during the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty.There are more than 10 buildings, Goddess of Mercy Palace, Greater Buddha Palace, Lesser Buddha palace, Monk Palace, the Jade Emperor (the supreme deity of Taoism) Palace, Lord Lao (a Taoist deity) Palace, wing rooms and guestrooms. It is a great marvel that Buddhism and Taoism are together without interference. The statute of Goddess of Mercy carved in the cliff is valuable in the field of art. She has a haggard and smooth face, delicate features and exquiste clothes. In the cave, you can see carved stones and steles, which mainly record poems and events of all dynasties. Among them, the earliest one came from the first year of the reign of emperor Kaiqing in Song Dynasty. During the Ming and the Qing Dynasties, this area was so famous for a sacred and its bell was always ringging. The major spots in Xianyu Cave are: Nun Cave, Meeting Fairy Platform, Nine Flying Waterfall, Yellow Stone Umbrella China, Rhinoceros Gazing the Moon, Stone Steps to the Sky, Evening glow and etc.
- Green Dragon Lake
The area of the largest lake in the Bamboo Sea is 1.5 square kilometers. The lake looks like a dragon. The head of the dragon is big and the tale of it is small. When the sun rises, the sunny lake is very beautiful. There are also some historic sites, such as Plum Ground, Ancient Buddha Cave, Cool Cave, Mirror for notifying spirits and Qidie Stone.
- Guabang rock
Seen from the valley, xianyu Cave is imposing and precipitous. And seen far into the distance, Guabang Rock is like a dragon flying round the Dan cliff. On the cliff appears a waterfall cave, in which the statue is carved. Passing along the cave, you'll see a series of caves, Fairy Cave, Peach Cave, Monkey Cave etc.
- Flower stream thirteen brige
A brook lies at the foot of the Longyi Temple Mountain, northeast to Wanli Town. The Brook, 3 km in length, flows through it. Among the 13 bridges across it, 8 were built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The green tall bamboo and the picture of bridges, brooks and villages set each other off, presenting people what's called antique. Not far from there stands scenic spots like EE Tomb, Peacock Mountain, Mist Cave, Couple Waterfall, Reflecting Pool and ancient dwelling with the style of Ming Dynasty etc.
- Xijia Mountain Old Folk House
The decorations of the major building are solemn and witty, tending towards various changes on the basis of sticking out the main buildings. Lucky patterns, such as cloud and water, lotus flower and geometric figures are usually painted on the plinths and humps. The ridge sticks up, dotted with ceramic tiles and patterns. Elegant Patterns of historical tails and stories, such as "Writing an inscription in the valley", "HuangTingJian (a famous poet) suspended goose", the building of yellow cranes, "the Eight Immortals crossing the sea". In front of the main halls are 14 sets 28 leaves of wooden doors, in the center of which are four pierced wood caving paintings of "fishing, woodcutting, plowing and reading". On the separating door, there are decorative patterns carved with deep and shallow relief sculpture, such as "Enjoying happiness, emolument and longevity". "Both happiness and luck", "Permanent happiness and luck", "Endless happiness and longevity", "Life-long happiness and emolument", "Plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum", and "Three successive upgrades".
In front of the gate are double poles, built because three members of this mansion with a family name Huang are successful candidates in the imperial exams at the provincial level. To the west is a small garden, in which there are an ancient orchid with a history of over 2000 years, a towering ancient banyan embraced with a ten-meter-height aged palm, implying the meaning of "the way of banyan and palm" (homonym in Chinese).
There are a Nan woods planted 300 years ago with an area of about 100 mu around the manor. About 10000 egrets dwell on the woods, which is a landscape of the manor.A.
- The scene of the Yu River
The Yu River is upstream from the Changning Country to Zuhai Town. There are a Qingying attic at the upper segment and a Duyou pavilion at the lower segment. Due to the high dam, the water is calm and the river looks like a lake.
