Tianyan Original Ecological Tourism Area is located in the southwest of Shennongjia, covers an area of 926.24 square kilometers. It’s an original ecological tourism area, which set in the original forest scenery, in the content of legend of Shennongshi and forest culture, blends strange tree, flower, cave, peak and citizens’ customs into a unity, and the theme of it is seeking novelty and exploring secret.
In Scenic area, forest is vast, and scenery is beautiful, especially the feature of “grand, elegant, tranquil and wild”. The main scenic spots include “ Swallow Cave”, “Swallow Fly a River”, “Meet Immortal Bridge”, “ Xuegang Valley”, “Liuxiang Valley”, “Shanbao Cave”, “ Zizhu River Original Forest”, “ Cloud Sea Buddha Light”, “Hongping Gallery” “ Baicao Sod”, “ Taping rurality and folk-custom flavor and so on. The resources of propagation are famous, and it’s an ideal place of developing green tourism for the fresh air and tranquil environment.

- Get in: Take coach at Coach Station of Xinhua Road from Wuhan to Shennongjia, there is a sleeper coach from Wuhan to Xingshan County at 8:00 every night and get to Xingshan at 6:00 in next morning, and the fare is 90 RMB per person. There is minibus at Xingshan to Shennongjia Muyu Village (60 kilometers), and a shift in half an hour, the fare is 10 RMB per person.
- Scenic area traffic: Shengnongjia Scenic Area has a convenient traffic, each regular bus setting off before 7:30am via all scenic areas. If missed regular bus, you can charter minibus, and the fare is 200 RMB per day.
