Shiren mountain stands in the central plains of China, possessing the majesty of the lofty mountain in northern China, and the soft and subtle spirit of landscape in the south. In the spot you may enjoy the spectacular peaks and stones, marvelous waterfall, hot spring, bright mountain flowers, red leaves, lakes, world of clouds, primitive forest, rare animals and numerous sceneries of humanity, all of which make the spot rich and complete. This spot has the forest coverage of over 95%. You may find the evergreen ancient trees everywhere in it and the verdant primitive forest covers a large area. The waterfalls here have deep streams. For instance, the Jiuqu waterfall has connected volutions, and the Yinxian waterfall has one single stream through the whole waterfall area, which is distinctive and most impressive. The five hot spring complex composed of Shangtang, Zhongtang and Xiatang have rich water of high quality which deserves to be a best resort for recuperation. You may feel and enjoy its majesty, ruggedness, elegance, profoundness, and secludedness. It is especially appropriate for visiting, summer and health resort, and science exploration.

- Get around: You may take a sightseeing bus to Shiren Mountain in Pingdingshan City. In addition, visitors from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Yichang, Huaihua, Wuxi and Nanjing may take an originating train to Lushan station. Then take a minibus in the county to Shiren mountain.
- Self-drive: Shiren mountain is adjacent to Jiaozhi railway. The national highway No.311 and 207 pass through the scenic pot.
- Within the scenic spot: The spot is well equipped with services. You may take the Shirengu and Hongfenggu ropeways, and the 2000m-long granite slideway claiming to be the “first slide in the world”.
