Memorial of Huaihai Campaign is located in Fenghuang Mountain, Xuzhou City, which was built in 1960. With the grand vigor and beautiful scenery, the whole garden is a revolutionary monumentally place and scenic tourism area of having a rich historical meaning, scenery of humanities and elegant natural scenery.
The memorial covers an area of 1,200 acres for 40 years construction, now it has owned Memorial Tower, Memorial Hall, Huaihai Campaign Monument and National Defence Garden etc. five architectures, and The Place of Suyu’s Bone Ash, The Tree Planting Place of Hu Yaobang, and Qingnian Lake etc. ten scenic spots. Scenery of humanities in scenic area is famous in far and near, and the natural scenery blends pleasing one’s eyes, straightforward and elegance into a unity and each mainly architecture forming a unique sight, and reflecting each other, which forms memorial garden scenic area with a vast space, large scale, unique and famous in the whole country.
