Alu Old Cave is located in Luxi County, about 160 kilometers from Kunming and has a group of typical rock physiognomy and caves. And this marvelous underground palace is made up of 9 apices and 18 caves. A famous traveler in the Ming dynasty, Xu Xiake was once addictive to this beauty. He did research twice in the cave and left the famous saying “headstream of the Lu comes from the deep cave and the Lu is surrounded by cliffs”. Alu Old Cave is also named Luyuan Cave. It is the homeland of “Alu Clan”, one of the 37 clans during the Song and Yuan dynasties, which gives its name. Its main cave is made up of Luyuan Cave, Yuzhu Cave, Biyu Cave and the Yusun River, with the total length of more than 3 thousand meters. The sights have the characteristic of age long, fancy and unique. Spring outside the cave, caves inside caves, sky in caves, rivers under caves, with all kinds of stalagmites, stalactites, steles, Shiman, rock sickles, rock waterfall, rock flowers… …in all kinds of shapes, show the endless interests of the nature.

- 1.there are special lines for travelers directly to the spot and you can also visit the rock forests first and then cover another 80 kilometers to get the entrance of the cave.
- 2.three buses (7：30、8：30、12：30) are at your order in Juhua Village station and you can take a taxi as well.
