The Temple covers an area of 82500 square meters, facing south and taking on oblong in shape. The main constructions are arranged at the sides of a north-south centual axis.

Longxing Temple is located inner the east gate of Zhengding city. It covers an area of 50000 squre meters. With perfect layout in order, the Temple is a large-scale Buddhist temple which is well preserved and has a long history. Liang Sicheng, a famous scholar on construction, said, “Longxing Temple is the most famous temple outside Beijing.” Longxing Temple is one of the top-ten temples of China. Babei Pavillion and the Bronze Buddha are the symbols of the Temple. After 3 years rebuilding from 1997 to 1999, the Temple regained its ancient figure of Song dynasty.

Take bus 201 at Shijiazhuang to Zhengding county, and then take bus or taxi to Longxing Temple. It is 15 kilometers away from Shijiazhuang.
