| Short Description: | Masses of forest grow on the Liyu Peak, and the pool beside the mountain foot is called “Little Dragon Pool”. Standing by the pool looking up the peak, it is like a huge carp jumping over the pool with the reflection in the pool. It is called Fish Jumping over the South Pool, which is one of the Eight Old Scenic Spots in Liuzhou. The mountain is perforate by 7 cavities, which is called Clever Seven Holes. |

Liyu Peak Scenery is the main famous mountains in Liuzhou City, which is located in south bank of Liujiang River and near the downtown. It stands suddenly in the plain with the height of 68m and altitude of 156.3m, and lies from the west to east. The famous litterateur in Tang Dynasty Liu Zongyuan praised that, “it is small but very tall, and like a jumping fish”, so it was named Liyu Peak (Jumping Fish Peak), and also called Shiyu Mountain (Stone Fish Mountain) or Yufeng Mountain. The scenery is made up of famous place of interest in Liuzhou such as Yufeng Mountain, Maan Mountain and Little Dragon Pool etc. The Dragon Pool is surrounding by the two peaks, and the scenery of the landscape looks magnificent and beautiful. The virescence area of the scenery is over 90% of the total area. There remains hundreds of stone carvings of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty, and also historic culture such as the Travel Notes of Liu Zongyuan, Footprint of Xu Xiake, Amorous Feelings of Liu Sanjie, engaging Legendary of the Eight Immortals. There is also natural scenery called Eight Old Scenic Spots in Liuzhou, such as Fish Jumping over the South Pool, Heavenly Steed Soaring Across the Sky, etc. Dock of cruise, “Qingfengyuan” Kara OK box, Zhongxian Cave, Amusement Park, Telpher for Touring, Ancient Custom Park and Folk Custom Performance etc. are distributing in the park.

Incity Transportation: Take Bus 10, 19, 21, 16, 4 and get off at Yufeng Park. If arriving the city at the Coach Terminal, walk 150m towards right and cross the road, then arrive there.
