Hongqi Ditch locates at the junction of Henan，Shanxi and Hebei， 20km north of the downtown area of Linzhou city. It is an ideal tourism resort, the location advantageous, transportation convenient, natural scenery beautiful and imposing and scenery of humanity unique and venerable.
Hongqi Ditch is constructed around the cliff of the Taihang Mountain by the government of Lin Town in 1960. The tourism area was initiated in 1990, with a planning area of 5 square kilometers and investment of more than 50million. The tourism are integrates the venerable and risky Hongqi Ditch which twines among the cliffs at the middle of Taihang Mountaim and the “Imposing, Risky, Unique and Elegant” natural scenery of LinLv Mountain cultural relics, supplementing and complementing. It actually bears the simple and naïve local flavor and the magnificent and venerable artistic conception. The tourism area consists of three sections-Feishui Garden (Watershed Garden), Qingnian Cave (Youth Cave) and luosi Pool (Silky Pool), which all have there distinct feature and flavor, yet deeply connected. Hongqi Ditch enjoys high reputation both at home and abroad, reputed as “Artificial Milky Way” and “Contemporary Great Wall”.

- Go around: the chartered vehicles from Anyang Coach Station to Linzhou sets off every 10 minutes and arrive in 40 minutes; chartered vehicles or taxis from Liuzhou Station to the tourism Area is available everyday.

Linzhou belongs to the warm temperate semi-humid continental monsoon climate, featured with four distinctly cut season and sufficient sunshine.
