Lemandi Amusement Park (also known as the Merryland resort and themepark) is Disney-world style amusement park located on the west bank of Bilin Lake, Xing'an County, Guilin, Guangxi Autonomous Region.
The resort and theme park consists of a five-star hotel, a forest holiday village, a golf course, and a theme park. The Lemandi Resort Hotel houses three different styles of exquisite guestrooms: 368 guestrooms, 64 American-style huts, and 160 camping terraces. It covers an area of 6,000 mu (988 acres), and was invested and built by Taiwanese businessman, Mr. Ma Zhi Ling.
The resort is the largest kind of amusement theme park with full of entertainment venues and facilities in China. It offers such fun plays as bungee jumping, the pirate ship ride, haunted castle, and switchback cars. It also features a variety of colorful minority cultures of Guangxi. It's a great place for a relaxed family vacation, or a stay at the unique wooden cottage, a camping tour.
The park features six section with distinct flavors:
- South Pacific: featuring tropical plants, bamboo, thatch houses and magical aboriginal stone carvings.
- Happy China Town: featuring the essence of Chinese culture and China Town.
- Dream Global City: where the dream of a united world comes true!
- Pirate Village: get close and personal with pirates!
- Western United States: experience the life a western cowboy.
- Europe: reminiscence of the classic Gothic architecture of the 12th -13th century's Europe.
