Jinshitan Resort is also called the Golden Pebble Beach National Tourist Resort (zh:大连金石滩国家旅游度假区), and the "Back Garden of Dalian".
The area is known for its exotic rocks, golf courses, beaches, gardens, and other top-notch entertainment facilities.
The Resort covers a land area of 62 sq km, maritime space 58 sq km, and is only 58 km from downtown Dalian.
