Jingzhou Museum is a local multi-functional museum. It is famous home and abroad for its beautiful environment, bountiful antiques, local rare articles and fruitful archeological achievements. There are four sections in this museum: Exhibition Hall, Chu Palace & Souvenir Store, Treasure House and Ancient Kaiyuan Taoism House. Main buildings are Exhibition Hall and Treasure House. There are 120,000 articles in Jingzhou Museum, among which over 200 are first-class national treasures. There are four groups of shows in Exhibition Hall: Original Civilization Show on Jianghan Plain, Chuhan Culture Show on Jianghan Plain, Gorgeous Relics Show and Letters on Jingzhou Bamboo Show. There are three groups of shows in Treasure House: No. 168 Han Tomb Show of Phoenix Hill, Ancient Painted Articles Show and Chuhan Needlework Show. All these exhibitions cover an area of 4,000 square meters with over 3,000 articles.
