The Hengdian Film & TV City takes up an area of 6,000 acres and has thirteen film and television shooting base, such as Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street, Palace of Emperor Yingzheng, a picture of Bian river at Qingming Lane, the Zen Temple of Dazhi, Water Region of Yangtze River, Ming and Qing architecture, ancient folk dwellings etc. There more than 300 film plays and 4000 TV series finished key scene shooting. It is praised as Oriental Hollywood and is approved as 4A level tourist region by National Tourism Bureau. In 2004, it is approved as the only film and television industry experiment region in China. The Guangsha Construct Group invests more than 70,000,000 to build the City of White Cloud Culture, in which there are Pagoda and Lake of Goddess of White Cloud Culture. Goddess of Mercy having thousands of hands and eyes is the biggest one in Southeast Asia.
The emerging film & TV making industry has boosted local tourism. More than 10 upscale hotels have been made, with accommodation for 7000 people. Also included is a resort village, covering an area of 164 acres, an international trade building with a capacity for over 1,000 people, and a tourism mansion. All the hotels, fancy or modest, are equipped with entertainment facilities, nightclubs, sauna centers, performance centers, gyms, and bowling halls.

- Go around:
- Take regular bus at Yiwu River East Coach Station to Hengdian;
- Take special line bus at Dongyang West or East Coach Station to Hengdian (A shift in every ten minutes and it will take you 20 minutes).
- Take a taxi at Dongyang, and it will take you 15 minutes to get there and the fare is about 25 RMB per person.
- Inner traffic: There is a tour bus among scenic areas, and a shift in every 15 minutes, the fare is 1 RMB. Or take tricycle and the fare is 3 to 5 RMB.

Jinhua belongs to subtropical monsoonal climate, spring is early and warm, summer is hot and long, autumn is cool and short, winter is humid and cold, and it has a distinct seasons. The annual average temperature is about 18 ℃. It has distinct dry and wet seasons. In June, there is rain lasting a few days even a few months, and you’d better avoid rainy season to travel there.
