| Short Description: | The three hills are peculiar in shapes: like a huge elephant drinking water, a single apex inserting in the river and colorful brocade superposing. Each cave has spectacles: some are similar to a full moon, some are with blasts of wind and some has odd rocks hanging. Greenery forms the shade and clean water flows around, with the rock road leading the deep and remote. |

The Elephant Hill is located in the city center, on the edge of the Li River, including Elephant Hill Park, Fubo Park and Diecai Park. The Elephant Hill sits in the point where Guilin Peach River joining the Li River. The management office was set up in 1986, in charge of the cave, pavilions, temples and the virescence accessorial to the Elephant Hill. The gate of the park imitates the types of archaic Pai floors, with cement walls, diagonal brae tops, green glaze tiles and “the Elephant Hill water and moon” titled on the top. And to the north there are Three-star Island and the Bin River spot. To the east is Zizhou. Gardens, the Cloud Apex Temple and the Sheli Tower are in the west and south-west. The Water-moon Cave and the Through-hill Moon Rock produce the miracle of “Double-moon of the Li River”. The Elephant Hill beauty spot has become the sign of Guilin Hills and Waters and the symbol of the Guilin city. Main spots are as following: The Elephant’s Nose Hill, the Water-moon Cave, The Elephant’s Nose Rock, the South Pole Cave, the Puxian Tower, the Cloud Apex Temple, the Sheli Tower, the Fubo Park, the Pearl-returned Cave, the Shijian Rock, the Zhong Pavilion, the Listen-to-billow Pavilion, the Fubo Cloister, the Fubo Spectacle, the Diecai Park, the Wind Cave, the Bright Moon Apex, the Wind-out Cave, the Wooden Dragon Cave and so on.
