Dadonghai (literally Big East Sea) (zh:大东海) is located 3 km (about 1.9 miles) southeast of downtown Sanya, between Mt. Tuziwei and Mt. Luhuitou. Dadonghai is a crescent-shaped 2.3 km-long (about 1.4 miles) beach, and is one of the most popular tropical seaside resorts in China. It's known for its crystal-clear blue ocean, sunshine, white sand beach and lush green trees.
