Central China

Central China (华中) geographically refers to the Yangtze River Basin region, an area south to the Qinling Mountains (秦岭) and the Huaihe River (淮河), north of Nanling (南岭), Wushan Mountain (巫山), and Xuefeng Mountain (雪峰山). Administratively, it consists of Henan (河南), Hubei (湖北), and Hunan (湖南) provinces.
